Our story
Three generations of trusted local care
Marks Marine Pharmacy has been a well-known name on the west coast of Canada since the 1950s, founded by UBC pharmacists Gordon Marks (RPH 1948) and Marvin Nider (RPH 1973), both since passed and fondly remembered. It has remained a true brick-and-mortar community pharmacy ever since, tucked inside the Main & Marine Medical Clinic on Southeast Marine Drive.
Pharmacist Robert Rosenblatt, a University of British Columbia graduate with over 30 years of experience, grew the practice and established a location near Vancouver International Airport to optimize shipping. After working side by side for 20 years, Rob retired at 70 and passed the pharmacy to second-generation pharmacist Jordan, who carries that legacy forward today.
We combine old-fashioned, personal service with the convenience of nationwide shipping, so you get the same trusted care whether you live around the corner or across the country.
